What A Wonderful Day!

What a wonderful day we had spending time with Linda and Craig along with their family and friends for their Anniversary Celebration. Linda and Craig are two of the sweetest people I know and I am so blessed to have them be a part of our famiy. Rick and I enjoyed meeting their friends who are also very sweet people. They are blessed to have such good friends.

It is so nice that there is no Munroe/Russell separations but more of a Munrus or Rusmun and that we are more like one big family rather than 2 small families.

Have a wonderful rest of your Anniversary and enjoy your stay at the hotel when you go. Let us know when so we can surprise you! Just kidding. Love to you both, Drue and Rick

Sunday

Visited a new church this Sunday that is closer to home. In fact right across from our community on 380. Small church with maybe 20 people there this Sunday but I must say that you don't have to go to a big fancy church that you feel like a number and no one really knows your name to feel the Lord working. The music was wonderful and they sang probably 7 or 8 songs, then they had everyone stop to get a drink and just mingle and then it was on with the service. A little long because of all this, we didn't get out until 12:45 but I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the fellowship and that is what it is all about.

Next Sunday we are visiting a church behind Loew's off of 423.

Ready For Winter

I know you are going to think I am dumb saying this but I am looking forward to winter when I can rest some. It seems like this summer I am so busy that I am not able to enjoy the sun rise and set.

This month in June not one weekend is free. And in July, three of my weekends are already booked, of course of love doing things but this is a little tiring for someone my age. Yes at first I complained because every weekend I stayed at home waiting for the kids to call to invite us somewhere and then I decided not anymore, too depressing. But boy oh boy, I went a little overboard with it, hee, hee. I am so involved in other things that my poor kids have to book me months in advance. At least I get to see my grandbabies a couple of times this month. Love you kiddos.
