Well Rick and I were off on Friday so I decided to clean and do laundry and get all the housework stuff done so I could enjoy the rest of the weekend. Big mistake.
Landen came over and spent the day with Granddaddy and me, however he wasn't feelig well and didn't want to spend the night so he went back home to be with Mommy and Daddy. But before he did we went and watched the Frisco fireworks.
Sunday while Rick was at work I decided it was time to move the TV's, so everyone knows in order to clean up you destroy first. My bedroom was a total disaster. When Rick got home we went to eat at Apetito's to thank Abe for letting us come and watch the fireworks at his restaurant (he gave us free Tea while we watched them, such a sweetheart). Then it was off to the house to finish up. Rick and I moved the Entertainment Center from the family room to the bedroom. Then we moved the big screen into the famiy room, but I just couldn't help Rick move the big TV from the family room to the living room nor could I help him lift up the TV to put on top of the entertainment center now in our bedroom (had to put it on top so we could see it since our bed is so high).
Ricky J. couldn't come help because he was too tired after a day of golf and I couldn't leave my house the way it was because I would have the baby the next day and I couldn't have a TV sitting in the middle of the living room and another way in a chair in the bedroom. Didn't know what to do and I was getting fustrated. Decided to see if Clyde, my nephew would come help, and even though he was watching a movie with his family, the sweetheart came to save the day.
What a doll! Took him only 15 minutes to help Rick move the two TV's and then he was off to his house again. I finished up putting things away. Got through about 10:30 pm and then I had to go soak in the bathtub with some salts because I was cramping up and could hardly move. Knew that wouldn't work with watching the baby the next day.
Didn't cramb all night, which is what I was afraid of but I couldn't sleep either. I think my adrenaline was so high my body was still thinking it was working time. Only got about 2 hours sleep but will probably lay down with the baby at nap time.
So glad to have it done though. Next weekend I have plans with a girlfriend to meet for breakfast and we have Madison's birthday party at 3 pm. Then Sunday I am visiting a new church in McKinney that is a pentacostal church, which is what I grew up with when going to my grandma's church. I am really excited because most of the church is 50 and over and they do a lot more stuff together.
Well think I am caught up now. Love to all and glad to see everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.
